Fall DIY

6:50 PM

This week's post I wanted to show you two DIY's (Do It Yourself) that are perfect for this time of year. You'll be making decorated pinecones, pumpkins, and leaves with only a few simple steps. This project is great for even kids because they will enjoy the glitter and the fun. :) This craft is not very time consuming. Overall, you'll love the end result!

I used a plate on top of a tall glass for some height. The paper leaves are a tradition that we do as a family which is writing  what we are thankful for.

I put the decorated pinecones, leaves, and pumpkins on the Thanksgiving table.
Now lets get into the craft!

What you need for the first craft: fine glitter (color of your choice - I chose gold and silver), Mod Podge,  pinecones and/or pumpkins.

First, follow the instructions on the Mod Podge bottle and pour some on a paper plate. Then take your Mod Podge and dab it on your object where you would like it. Next you are going to drizzle the glitter over the Mod Podge. Once you are all done leave it to dry for a few hours. Tip: I suggest working in sections. Also, I suggest covering your surface by using a paper plater underneath to collect the glitter and reuse.

The next DIY is the simplest of them all. What you will need is leaves and sparkle Mod Podge. Follow the instructions on the bottle  and pour on a paper plate. Paint the leaves with the sparkled Mod Podge. Then leave to dry. Your result should be a shiny leaf with a sparkle touch.

Enjoy, xoxo Isabella
